Poll clarity

THE 2018 General Election can be held within the next three months with the final date for the elections to be no later than November 22.

This is the clarification from the Electoral Commission chairperson, Suresh Chandra.

He made the statement after the signing of the terms of reference for the Multinational Observer Group for this year’s election by Acting Prime Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, Australian High Commissioner to Fiji John Feakes and Indonesian ambassador to Fiji Benyamin Carnadi.
