“Being the host for the Sukuna Bowl this year, it is one of the sports that we are looking forward to include,” Lutunauga said.

“It is undergoing a revival and is great to see the response from officers and their families.”

Lutunauga said the Police Tritons basketball team had been occupied over the last few months participating in the Raiwaqa Basketball Interlane Championship creating new relationships with the communities.

“As part of the commissioner of Police’s intent our Tritons have engaged with the community not only through sports but creating awareness as well.

“Alongside taking part in the competition we have also had our community policing programs on display which helps arm the communities in Raiwaqa.”

Lutunauga said the response from the public had been great and they were looking to expand to many more communities.
