Four men who went missing recently while fishing have been found, said the Fiji Police Force.
Three were rescued from a lighthouse while another was found lying on rocks along Kavukavu Reef, off Beqa Island.
Police had received a report on Wednesday afternoon last week that a boat had capsized near Yanuca Island with four men on board.
“Three men managed to swim safely to the lighthouse while one was missing,’ said police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro.
A search team from the Navua Police Station and Fiji Navy went out looking for the fourth fisherman.
“The next morning (Thursday) the fourth man was found lying on a rock along Kavukavu Reef, off Beqa Island by a man from Naitata, Navua while on his way to Vatulele.
The capsized boat was also found in Vatulele waters.”
