Fiji Police have reported the death of a 29-year-old chef from Korovuto in Nadi who died following an alleged motorcycle accident along the Queens Road yesterday afternoon.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the victim left his Korovuto home and was traveling towards Sonaisali when he allegedly failed to negotiate a bend and landed in a culvert.
She said the man was rushed to the Nadi Hospital where he passed away shortly after.
The national road death toll stands at 8 compared to 17 for the same period last year.
