Police investigate Lomolomo Bridge accident

POLICE are looking into the events that led to an accident on the Queens Road at Lomolomo Bridge, Lautoka, where a vehicle ended up in the Lomolomo River.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the accident happened on Sunday at about 4pm.

“A vehicle driven by a 24-year-old Nawaka villager allegedly veered onto the other lane and hit an oncoming vehicle driven by a 32-year-old engineer of Australia,” she said.
