POLICE in Suva have confirmed static deployment of officers at the Miller’s Wharf in Suva to counter criminal offences that usually occurred around this time of the year.
Fiji Police director Operations SSP Abdul Khan said this operation would ensure their ability to counter likely offences such as theft, which was common during this time of the year from fishing vessels.
SSP Khan said Operations would be beefing up visibility to provide the conducive environment for everyone to enjoy a safe Christmas.
