FIJIAN Police have arrested a man after a raid at his Nasinu home resulted in the seizure of more than 200 sachets of dried leaves believed to be marijuana.
Police said the 47-year-old man was now in their custody.
A team of officers had raided the man’s home at Veiraisi Settlement yesterday afternoon and they found 226 sachets of dried leaves, parcel containing a branch of dried leaves wrapped in aluminum and one parcel wrapped in newspaper, all believed to be marijuana.
Police say the drugs seized had been sent for analysis as their investigations continue.
