Police charge teacher with assault

The 37-year-old school teacher from Lautoka alleged to have assaulted a seven-year-old student has been charged.

Police charged the teacher with one count of assault causing actual bodily harm.

The alleged assault occurred in December last year, Police say.

He will be produced at the Lautoka Magistrates Court tomorrow.
