PNG thrash Cricket Fiji

PAPUA New Guinea thrashed the Cricket Fiji side by 75 runs at the ICC East Asia Pacific T20 qualifier today.

PNG batted first and scored 188 runs in 20 overs at a loss of eight wickets.

In reply, Fiji managed only 113 overs in 20 overs losing nine wickets.

Fiji had earlier defeated Vanuatu by 3 wickets while PNG accounted for Samoa by 80 runs.

Fiji’s next match is against Samoa at 1.30pm tomorrow at Albert Park in Suva.
