PORT MORESBY, 10 OCTOBER 2018 (POST COURIER) – Preparations for the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping are going well.
Minister for APEC Justin Tkatchenko confirmed the two-day state visit will be before the start of the APEC Leaders’ Summit next month.
President Xi will arrive in Port Moresby late in the afternoon on November 15.
He will start official engagements the next day.
“We are currently working closely with Foreign Affairs protocol and with our office to ensure we have a successful state visit, said Minister Tkatchenko.
