PM: Keep your school clean

THE Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama expressed his disappointment on the condition of certain facilities at Navesau Adventist High School in Tailevu.

Mr Bainimarama, while visiting the school yesterday with the Minister for Health and Medical Services Rosy Akbar and other government officials, reminded the students to ensure their learning environment was kept clean at all times.

Mr Bainimarama was on his way to the Western Division for his rounds to flood-affected villages and communities in the West when he stopped over for a visit at the school.

“I tell you that you need to keep your school clean,” he said.

“On my way to Ba I thought to stop over and have a look at the school.”

Mr Bainimarama also urged the students to keep their accommodation clean.

“Not only your school, your home and your surroundings needs to be kept clean.

“I know you have 290 boarders and your boarding accommodations needs to be kept clean.”

He said the school would be supplied with more beds and cooking items including gas cookers and chairs.
