FIJI intends to continue to be a respected voice for climate action in the world, now and in the years ahead, says Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama.

While addressing Forum leaders and representatives from regional organisations during the Climate Change Sautalaga at Funafuti, Tuvalu earlier today, Mr Bainimarama said the Pacific was now one and “conscious of our vulnerability but determined to resolve our challenges and improve the lives of our people”.

Mr Bainimarama also commended the Tuvaluan government in hosting this year’s Forum leaders meeting, and said he looked forward to strengthening the great friendships “between us and our collective agenda”.
