Ben Nakubuwai is a current Gold Coast Titan player, who is originally from Veidrala, Nakorotubu in the Ra province with maternal links to Kadavu.
He is the son of Pio Nakubuwai, a former Fiji Bati player, who also represented Fiji in the 1995 Rugby League World Cup. They now reside in Australia.
Ben Nakubuwai began playing Rugby League with Yanco-Wamoon Hawks RLFC and Bidgee Hurricanes.
He further moved to Melbourne to play for Altona Roosters and was also a part of the Melbourne Storm in the SG Ball competition.
He graduated to the Melbourne Storm NYC side in 2015. In 2016, Nakubuwai represented Fiji in the Melanesian Cup match against PNG.
