THE Fiji Football Association has changed the format for the Vodafone Senior Division League competition final play-offs this year.
Previously the western zone winner played off with the southern zone winner to determine the Viti Levu champions, who then played the Vanua Levu champions to decide the eventual title winner for the season.
This year the three zonal winners will play-off in a round robin format to claim the title as champions.
A lot is at stake for the zonal winners as the champion of the senior title will get direct entry to the premier division next season.
Bua has qualified for the event as the northern winner, Lami is the southern winner while the Rakiraki is the western winner.
Fiji FA competitions/club licensing manager Amitesh Pal said the round robin stage would be held in Rewa and Suva this week.
Lami and Bua have not played in the top tier National Football League.
At 7.30pm at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori, Bua will take on Lami.
On Saturday at the Fiji FA academy grounds in Vatuwaqa, Rakiraki will face Lami at 3pm while at the same venue at 3pm on Sunday, Bua will play Rakiraki.
