THE Value City branch in Nabua hosted a morning tea today in a bid to raise awareness about breast cancer.

Value City (SP) Ltd managing director Vera Chute said the initiative was made possible through the hard work of the company’s staff.

Ms Chute said they had partnered with the Fiji Cancer Society (FCS) annually.

“We have been involved in this initiative annually. It is all about teaching the staff some form of social responsibility because staff host their own morning teas in their respective branches,” she said.

She added they were planning to raise about $5000 this year.
