Update: 11:56AM THE Pacific Conference of Churches has called on its members across the region to enter into a time of prayer and reflection ahead of the Fiji election.
Church general secretary Reverend Francois Pihaatae says it is important for all people no matter their faith – to reflect not only on
their decisions but also on the outcome of the poll.
“We urge our brothers and sisters in Fiji to make full use
of their constitutional rights and participate in the process of choosing
leaders who will govern wisely and well,” Mr Pihaatae said.
“It is our prayer that all Fiji’s people will be granted the
grace to accept the outcome of the election and work together to build a loving
society in which all God’s people may live in peace,” he said.
