AQUA Pacific has partnered with Habitat for Humanity Fiji and together they will support housing, water, sanitation and education building projects for communities where Habitat for Humanity Fiji operates.

The two organisations in a statement announced the first year of their global corporate social responsibility partnership of $100,000 for over 10 years.

Founder and CEO of Frezco Beverages Limited, Altaaf Jamal said they are very pleased to support Habitat for Humanity and look forward to the positive impact that their partnership program will bring to community development.

As part of the partnership, Aqua Pacific will support the Habitat Young Leaders Build Campaign in Fiji as a sponsor for a period of 10 years.

The Habitat for Humanity Young Leaders Build is an initiative that for the past five years, has brought over 1000’s of youth together from across Asia and Pacific regions to support people and families in need of decent housing.

Every young person volunteering, fundraising, raising awareness and adding their voices in support of affordable housing, can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves.

The movement encourages youth to take the lead and motivate their peers to build homes and communities, on a Habitat build site and/or online through their social networks.

Masi Latianara, Habitat for Humanity Fiji National Director said they are grateful to Aqua Pacific for their support to further the mission of Habitat, as they work together for a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

“We share a commitment for helping families in need. This support will enable Habitat for Humanity Fiji to improve the lives of many families throughout the country.”
