Partnership to raise awareness on plastic pollution

PORT Denarau Marina has partnered with Race for Water Foundation as it raises awareness on plastic pollution in Fiji.

Marina general manager Cynthia Rasch said Port Denarau was an official partner of Race for Water Foundation in Fiji.

“We are very happy and proud to be working with Foundation as it continues the importance work of raising awareness on plastic pollution in Fiji and across the globe,” she said.

“Our staff will be joining the Race for Water team at a beach clean up in Wailoaloa Beach and we believe that this is an important action to take in our efforts to reduce plastic pollution.”

The Foundation team onboard its unique renewable energy powered vessel are in Nadi carrying out workshops and school visits on their two week stop over in Fiji.
