Partly decomposed body of a child found stuck in mangroves

The body of a child was recovered by Police yesterday afternoon from waters off Vatutavui in Ba.

According to Police the discovery was made by a woman who was catching crabs.

Police say the woman found the partly decomposed body stuck in nearby mangroves and alerted Police.

“The child’s body is being kept at the Tavua Hospital mortuary awaiting post mortem examination.”
