ALL Blacks 7s stand-in coach Tomasi Cama Jnr has few tricks up his sleeves to counter the Fiji Airways national 7s team in their last pool game at the Paris 7s tournament.
The Kiwis lost 27-7 to Fiji in last week’s London 7s and Cama is confident of an improved performance this weekend.
Cama who had mastered some of New Zealand 7s great victories over Fiji in the past years, said his troops had to focus on the details of their game and individual roles and to trust their game plan.
The 2012 World Rugby 7s Series player of the year said lapse of concentration contributed to their downfall last weekend.
“We need to do the simple things well at speed otherwise Fiji will punish us,” Cama said.
Fiji faces New Zealand on Sunday at 5.14am.
The side meets Samoa in its opening pool game today at 8.50pm followed by the game against Kenya at 11.24pm.
