FOR the fourth time this year, Paradise Beverages will be sponsoring the Thurston Music and Food Festival.

The event hosted in Suva’s majestic Thurston Garden, will see the biggest names and hottest new acts in Fiji come together for a great day of music and entertainment.

Knox Entertainment co-director Inoke Kalounisiga was overwhelmed with Paradise Beverage’s support.

“Knowing we have the support of Paradise Beverages is a big bonus for the festival,” he said.

“They’ve been with us from the very first year and it’s a wonderful partnership having the leading local beverage company believe in not only our festival, but the local live music industry too.

“Events of this scale cannot progress and carry on without the support of Paradise Beverages, so we are incredibly grateful.”

Paradise Beverages marketing and sponsorship specialist Tuula Mallam said the music industry in Fiji was just as important to Paradise.

She said music brought people together to make new memories or reconnect old ones while providing a platform for musicians to showcase their talent which for some of them was their main source of income.

Ms Mallam said apart from the music, the festival provided a platform for all aspects of art and performance as well as delicious food and beverages.

Meanwhile, Paradise’s commitment to music in Fiji stretches long and wide encompassing not only several festival sponsorships in the past decade but also many more events at nightclubs, and resorts, as well as up and coming musicians as collaborative partners like Inside Out and recently DJ Christonite.

Some of the talented acts that can be expected at this year’s festival include Inside Out, Knox, Pacific Groove, Strangers, KKU, Bitz N Pieces and VOU.

There will be food stalls and refreshments throughout the festival.

The event is staged to happen on March 28.
