Pacific youths attend workshop

Update: 5:03PM PARTICIPANTS at the workshop on improving work opportunities for those in the Pacific today presented initial conceptual frameworks for research to be conducted in their individual countries.
The research would focus on the issue of youth unemployment in the country and how data would be collected to analyse and to provide evidence to support programs and policies.
The workshop in Suva is hosted by the Asian Development Bank in partnership with Pacific Community and the Pacific Youth Council and will end on Friday.
Participants are from the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Tuvalu, Fiji, Kiribati, Palau, Nauru and Marshall islands.
