ORGANISERS of the Digicel Nadi Bula Festival are anticipating a large crowd to come out in support of the queen contestants tonight.

The week-long festival ends with the crowning of Miss Bula this evening.

Nadi Bula Festival trust president Ravin Nadan said the festival had been a great success.

“The night programs particularly have been very well-received and we had a large crowd on Thursday for our iTaukei night,” he said.

He said a float procession was planned for Nadi Town at 1.30pm.

“We are expecting a huge crowd along the main streets of Nadi to witness the procession.”

Agriculture Minister Inia Seruiratu is expected to attend the closing ceremony along with Digicel Fiji CEO Mike Greig.

Nine contestants are vying for the Miss Bula crown.

The queen contestants also had a private judging session at Wyndham Resort Denarau Island yesterday.
