Organisation looks to train youths

YOUTHS need leadership training so it can build them to be better adults and become good citizens of Fiji in the future, says Apex Fiji Organisation president, Sanjit Sagar.

Mr Sagar said their organisation saw the need for youths to be trained in order to be great leaders.

“Being a great leader needs guidance and support and with our organisation we do just the right leadership training that can mould a certain youth to become well-mannered and well-presented,” he said.

Mr Sagar said youths would be trained to help communities who were victims of Severe TC Winston and other natural disasters.

“The organisation not only provides leadership training but also oratory contest for youths around Fiji and prefect seminars for school prefects and they help affected people during disasters,” he said.

“We have offered assistance to victims of Tropical Cyclone Winston in the Western Division where we donated food, clothes and beddings.

“We are doing a membership drive where we need as many youths to join in and we only need your commitment and availability in order to help those in need,” he said.

“You have to be 18 years of age to become a member and stand up for those who need your assistance.”
