Olympic Day Run

ABOUT 200 runners participated in the Olympic Day Run in Lautoka last Friday.
Rajeshwar Prasad and national triathlon rep Lavenia Dickinson took line honours during the event.
The 27-year-old Prasad finished the six-kilometre race in a time of 26.25 minutes.
Dickinson, who is also in the Oceania triathlon development squad, clocked 31.30 minutes.
Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee (FASANOC) chief executive officer Lorraine Mar was pleased with the turnout. Mar said it was a worldwide event celebrated by 206 other countries.
