ODPP: Teenager among sexual offenders

A 13-YEAR-old boy is among 28 people who were charged for sexual-related offences last month alone.
According to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution, the teenager was was charged for the rape and sexual assault of a six-year-old girl.
According to the ODPP, the young boy and the victim are from the same village and attended the same school.
The ODDP stated that there were 28 people charged with a total of 58 counts of separate rape and sexual offence incidents in March.
The offences were rape (36), abduction with intent to have carnal knowledge (1), and attempted defilement (1) and sexual assault (20).
There were 30 victims of whom 19 victims were under the age of 18 years.
There were 15 incidents where the victims and the accused were related to one another.
