SIR Gordon Tietjen’s-coached Samoa 7s team arrived at the Nadi International Airport to battle for the upcoming Oceania 7s tournament.

The former New Zealand 7s master tactician said he wanted to test his new boys and analyse his team’s combination in readiness for the HSBC World Sevens Dubai tournament that is two weeks away.

Titjens said he wanted to test his young boys at the ‘home of 7s’ – saying there is no other place in the world like Fiji to start your 7s career in.

He said Fiji was the hardest place to play at and the best play to learn.

Samoa is pooled with Tonga, Niue and Tuvalu.

The Oceania 7s will be held at the ANZ Stadium on Friday (November 9) and Saturday (November 10).
