SAMOA and Tonga have made a strong start in the men’s division of the Oceania 7s competition.

Samoa thumped Tuvalu 43-nil after leading 22-nil at half time.

In an earlier match Tonga thrashed Niue 38-nil.

A cracker of a match is expected when Tonga and Samoa clash at 7pm today.
