NZ PM urges Fijian women leaders to speak freely about their issues

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern will discuss issues affecting women in Fiji over lunch being held at the New Zealand High Commissioner’s residence at Ratu Sukuna Road in Suva this hour.

A group of women leaders are attending the luncheon with Ms Ardern.

Speaking at the event, she reminded the women to be bold when addressing issues affecting women.

Ms Ardern then said women would be given the opportunity to speak freely about women issues in Fiji over lunch.

Some notable attendees include Opposition women MPs Lynda Tabuya, Lenora Qereqeretabua and Salote Radrodro, Government Ministers Rosy Akbar and Premila Kumar.
