No fatality in Kinoya accident, passengers injured

NINE passengers were injured after they were involved in an accident at Kinoya last night.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said at 11pm last night at the Kinoya Traffic Light, a Nasese Bus driven by a 23-year-old was heading towards Nausori from Suva when it collided with another vehicle heading towards Khalsa Road.

Ms Naisoro said there were nine passengers in the bus and as a result of the accident the bus tumbled.

“All nine passengers received injuries and were conveyed to Valelevu Health Centre for treatment,” Ms Naisoro said.

She said there were no fatalities and the bus driver yet to be questioned.
