FIJI Hardwood Corporation Ltd chairman Adrian Sofield says it would not be easy for Government to manage the proposed Code of Conduct 2018 Bill.

While making submissions before the Standing Committee on Justice, Law and Human Rights in Nadi yesterday, he said while he supported the Bill for ensuring transparency and accountability, there were a number of issues that needed to be addressed including the appointment of a Commission to apply the Act.

“I think that it’s important to have these pieces of┬álegislation┬ámoving forward,” he said.

“It won’t be easy for Government or for anyone to actually manage it.”
