THE Nadi Town Council has assured members of the public that work on the $4million Namaka Municipal Market will not disrupt movement and business for vendors.

Council CEO Robin Ali said once their contractors were mobilised to work on Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the project, they would ensure that operations continued at the market.

“We will manage the movement of the public and vendors during the implementation of stage 2,” Mr Ali said.

“We also note that parking will be an issue during the implementation of stage 2, we will keep the vendors informed and guide them.”

He said a public convenience had also been set up for the vendors and members of the public.
