No celebration for IDC champs Lautoka; Cash incentives for players

THE Lautoka soccer team will not host a major celebration for winning the Vodafone Premier League and the Courts Inter District Championship this year.

Team president Abdul Kadar said the side had started its preparation for the Pillay Garments Champions versus Champions matches against Ba, followed by the Pacific Cup and the O’league.

He said players would be paid cash incentives for their achievements.

The side will face Ba in the CVC opener at Lautoka’s Churchill Park on October 28.
