THE Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) is advising members of the public that its contractors will be working on Vulovi Bridge on Wainikoro Road in Labasa from 7pm, Saturday 19 October to 4am, Sunday 20 October.
FRA added, as a consequence, the road will be reduced to a single lane to complete the Mapei grouting works on the upstream end of the bridge.
A full traffic management plan and traffic control for the inbound lane to Labasa Town will be provided for the first 24 hours upon completion and FRA plans to fully open the road by 4am, 21 October.
FRA is advising members of the public to strictly adhere to the traffic management signage in place to ensure the safety of other motorists and workmen alike.
Travelers along this area are advised to take this notice into account when finalising travel plans.
