A non-governmental organisation has come onboard to assist schools with personal protective equipment.
Director International of Yadein Vision Group, Pundit Bobby Mishra, said they were assisting schools by equipping them with personal protective equipment.
“As per the protocol of the Ministry of Education, they required hand sanitisers, hand gloves and masks for children and staff,” said Mr Mishra.
“What Yadein Vision did is we sent two pallets of 500ml of hand sanitisers which we distributed personally to schools throughout Fiji from Rakiraki to Tailevu all the way to Sigatoka.
“Tomorrow I will be going to Labasa to distribute to schools there.
“We have also sent 10,000 hand gloves and 10,000 face masks for the children and the staff.
“This is one of the few things which Yadein Vision does.”
Mr Mishra said they had been assisting needy people and children since 2000.
“Whenever there is a natural disaster, Yadein Vision is always in Fiji assisting the needy.
“Yadein Vision supporters in Fiji and abroad have Fiji at heart, we all love our country.
“That’s the reason why we are always here to assist our people.”
