THE Fiji Judo Association received a new set of uniform from their Japanese counterparts.

Master Kiyofumi Manda, Shigetaka Ueda and Hiroo Nozue are in the country for a holiday and decided to visit the association.

They also shared some of their skills and experiences with the young Judokas.

Nacanieli Takayawa said they are here to honour the friendship that was made by them and their late father Viliame Takayawa Junior.

“They have been visiting us for the past 50 years helping in the development of Judo in the country,” he said.

He said this is a great platform for the young athletes to learn more skills.
