New team gives popular pool and bar a facelift

A POPULAR pool and bar at the Arts Village in Pacific Harbour has been given a facelift recently which is attracting more tourists and locals.

Under its new management, Tiki Pool and Bar has been the talk of the town with its new development, new face and new fun.

Director Imraz Iqbal says the swimming pool and the bar were built to cater for urbanites from Suva and surrounding places.

“This was built like a sort of amusement park place for people to have a nice beach environment,” Mr Iqbal said.

The reason they snapped up the portfolio, he said, was because of its potential, adding that with a substantial investment to spruce it up they knew the place would be one of a kind.

“It was sitting here running not into its full potential. So we took over the lease of the place.”

Development is in the pipeline with plans to expand the existing pool and bar and build a mini golf course.

Mr Iqbal has been running the show for a about a month now and is excited about its future prospects.

The property claims to have a swimming pool with Fiji’s largest swim-up bar, an 18-metre water slide, and a stage for regular performances.
