New service provider for fuel company

Digicel Fiji has become the privileged telecommunications provider for Pacific Energy SWP Ltd with services including mobile services, vehicle tracking and internet services.

The massive partnership announced yesterday by the renowned fuel distributor and the popular network service provider would see Pacific Energy benefit from the best data network and take advantage of significant cost saving on their communication bills.

Digicel Fiji CEO Farid Mohammed said they were committed to providing cutting-edge technological solutions while also having a strong focus on cost control in the areas of dedicated internet and vehicle tracking services which were their new wins in this three-year deal.

Mr Mohammed said the COVID-19 pandemic was a challenging time for most businesses and Digicel was looking at working on new products that would boost their services.

Pacific Energy chief executive officer Randall Vallette said they had been Digicel’s fuel suppliers for more than eight years and their partnership had become stronger over time.

“We went through an extensive tender process, ensuring Pacific Energy got the best deal in the market. Communications is the lifeblood of our logistics business and hence we need to ensure we got quality service at best rates.

“We are looking forward to continue the long relationship with Digicel Fiji and keen to leverage this partnership to implement further cutting-edge ICT solutions within our business,” Mr Vallette said.
