New floodwater retention wall planned for Sigatoka special school

STUDENTS at the Sigatoka School for Children with Special Needs can look forward to a new floodwater retention wall, thanks to the about $60,000 raised during the Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort Walk for Kids yesterday.

The biggest contributor was Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama who gave $39,500.

Outrigger Fiji director of sales Petero Manufolau said commitments and collections from guests, staff members and corporate sponsors totalled $15,617.60.
