STUDENTS deserve teachers who are on par with the latest strategies in teaching, said Ra education officer Maika Moroca.

He made the comments at the opening of a new block of classrooms at the Nabau District School in Ra where tier 1, 2, 3, and 4 students moved into their new classrooms that were recently completed.

Mr Moroca reminded teachers that they moulded the lives of students.

“We expect you teachers to be a team player in ensuring that the character of students before you are modified to withstand the winds of change brought about by external influences that turn a human soul to misbehave and damage property,” he said.

“The Ministry of Education believes that the school environment both internal and external influence the learning process.”

Students were also urged to take good care of their new classrooms.

“Students you have an obligation, you have a duty, you are duty-bound to ensure that your learning environment, the classrooms are kept neat and tidy.”
