Neptune gives to WoWs

Update: 6:07PM NEPTUNE Pacific Line handed over a cheque worth $1,500 to Walk on Walk Strong (WOWS) Kids Fiji to help the organization to continue providing services to children battling cancer in the country.

Neptune Pacific Line group general manager Rolf Rasmussen said the  shaving initiative was held throughout its regional offices in  Fiji, Australia, New Zealand , Samoa and Tonga.

“Over 100 employees will get their head shaved today for a good cause. Last year, we collected $5,500 and we are hoping to collect $10,000 this year,” Mr Rasmussen said

Meanwhile, WOWS Kids Fiji team leader Viola Lesi acknowledged the  shipping company for providing the much needed assistance. 

“We are thankful to organisations like Neptune which makes it possible for us to continue the work we do,” Ms Lesi said. 

WOWS Kids Fiji this year will be celebrating its 10 th year anniversary. The organization looks after and provides services during and post cancer for children suffering from  cancer.
