THE Permanent Secretary of Youth and Sports Development Maritino Nemani has harnessed the need for all youths and sports people to work in cohesion with the general populace in order to combat the novel coronavirus that has caused trepidation in the nation.

“Youths of Fiji and the sports people play a key role in assisting the Government and the citizens, fight COVID-19. It is important that whilst we are encouraging people to continue to be active by practising regular home exercises in a safe manner that complies with an upto- date evidence based guidance, the Government advisories and directives should be strictly adhered to and followed.”
