The Navy Rugby Club bounced back to top form taking round two of the Tau Sports and Digicel Suva Club 10s championship to win beating Covenant 7-0 in the final at Buckhurst ground over the weekend.

Navy finished the previous round one with a 7-5 loss to Jussi Buinivai in the bowl final but returned to top form after two strong outings.

“We are happy that the teams are here just to compete,” said Suva Rugby Union secretary Tevita Tuiloa.

Tuiloa said the Suva 10s tournament was shaping up to have an exciting finish.

“Just bringing back some competition, we can ensure our clubs will start strong next year in what we hope will be a full uninterrupted year of competitive rugby.”

Lomaiviti Rugby Club edged Harlequins by 7-5 to take the bowl competition.

The final round of the club 10s championship will be held this Saturday, December 4, at Buckhurst and Bidesi grounds in Suva.
