Navosa farmer is the country’s latest road fatality

A 45-YEAR-OLD farmer of Nakoro Village, Navosa is the country’s latest road fatality.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the victim was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the accident.
“On Friday night, he got off his vehicle along Vuniquwawa, Dratabu Road in Navosa when he was allegedly bumped by a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction,” she said.
“A post mortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.
The road death toll currently stands at 24 compared to 28 for the same period last year.
