ONE of the most popular resorts on the Coral Coast has reopened with special deals for local guests.

Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort & Spa, with its slogan – Nature’s playground on your very own private island – is fitting for the property and also allows Fijians to support the local economy badly affected by COVID-19 with the travel restrictions on tourists for now.

Tucked away on the Yanuca Island, a few minutes’ drive from Sigatoka Town and accessible by road, Shangri-La is now giving local residents the opportunity to book their getaway from as low as $250VIP per night or $450VIP for two nights with no extra charges for children 11 years and under staying, playing and eating free.

The resort’s room rates are inclusive of 25 per cent taxes and breakfast for two adults and two children 11 years and under.

Although operating on limited facilities to comply with government regulations, guests who book their stay can swim in the resort’s beautiful lagoon and explore the private island with complimentary activities including water park, kayaks, paddle boards and programs at the Marine Education Centre.

Famous for its guest menus, the resort also offers exquisite dining prepared with fresh, local flavours and ingredients which will most certainly add that extra touch to make the stay more memorable and enjoyable for guests.

Apart from this special offer, the resort also has more to offer on its one bedroom and two bedroom bure.

Local residents who are interested can always enquire the resort’s reservations team on 6520155 or reservations.fij@shangri-la.com for more details.

The offer is valid until July 31, 2020.
