FOR Jonasa Natoriba, 19, walking into the pre-polling station at Waivaka in Namosi for the first time was an experience he will never forget.

Mr Natoriba waited anxiously outside the pre-polling area to cast his vote and was the last voter in his village.

In an interview with this newspaper, he said he had never felt more nervous until yesterday.

“I was very nervous, even when I was making my way here simply because it is the first time for me to vote and it’s a decision that will determine my future,” he said.

When asked why he chose to vote despite his anxiousness, he said he wanted his voice to be heard.

“Even though I was nervous, I knew I had to cast my vote so that I could pick the leader I would want to go into government after November 14,” he said.
