National swimming championship observes a minute silence for patron

THE Fiji National School Swimming body today observed a minute of silence for the sudden passing of Oceania National Olympic Committee (ONOC) executive director Dennis Miller.

Miller was instrumental in the sports arena, having been the former president of Fiji Swimming Association and helping develop the sport.

Miller is a former National Champion of the 100m butter and also was a chef de mission for Team Fiji to the 1988 Olympic Games and the 1982 Common Wealth Games.
