FIJI’S national airline has introduced a new sale product that will offer savvy travellers the opportunity to grab fantastic deals every week on selected domestic and international flights from Fiji.
The airline has announced its Fiji Friendly Fares which will be released for sale every Thursday at midday for a period of 72 hours, or unless sold out prior.
Seats are limited so early bookings are highly encouraged.
In a statement, Fiji Airways managing director and chief executive officer Andre Viljoen said Fiji Friendly Fares was designed to offer Fiji residents the cheapest fares possible.
This, he said, would include heavily discounted fares by up to 67 per cent in some cases, on both Fiji Airways and Fiji Link.
“There’s a misconception that flying is always expensive, and we’d like to dispel that myth,” Mr Viljoen said.
“While we have numerous flight deals and fare campaigns throughout the year aimed at all our markets, Fiji Friendly Fares is designed for Fijians.
“It pays to book early and on occasions, domestic fares could drop as low as $39 one-way. This gives both leisure and business travellers a much faster and convenient option to visit their homes, friends, families and businesses.”
Mr Viljoen added that internationally, Fijians can access a number of exciting destinations on our network which will be available selectively through Fiji Friendly Fares.
“This is a small token of our appreciation to our people for their loyalty and support for the National Airline. Now flying is for everyone,” he said.
The airline stated that with Fiji Friendly Fares, a limited number of seats at unbelievably low prices will
be available for sale from midday every Thursday for 72 hours.
These will be available on fijiairways.com, at sales offices, the Fiji Airways Reservations Centre, and travel agents. The fares are ‘advance-purchase’ for travel during selected periods, are non-refundable and require instant purchase.

– Nadi to Auckland $575 return economy (inclusive of taxes)*
– Nadi to Suva $39 one-way or $78 return (inclusive of taxes)*
