NASINU hammered Northland Tailevu 10-0 in the Vodafone Senior League at the Fiji Football Association academy grounds in Vatuwaqa yesterday.
The Abdul Zaman-coached side created a lot of opportunities and took advantage of the no coach Northland Tailevu to punish them with a huge score margin.
Nasinu’s Elvis Ram and Jone Naraba got a hat-trick of goals each while defender Anish Kumar, Kaushik Kumar, Kamal Singh and Arthur Bale scored a goal each.
Zaman was content with the big win.
“It is a good win for Nasinu after losing two matches in the season as we are still regrouping,” he said.
“We will be playing against Vatukoula and if we win then we will increase our chances of winning the competition.
“We played an attacking formation and it worked out well for the team.”
Northland Tailevu captain Simione Saqatanamua said Nasinu was a better side.
“We are still working with the young players,” he said.
“The team is struggling at the moment and we are hoping to get some experienced players.
“We also did not have any coach and it was also the contributing factor in the loss.”
