WITH a successful 2019, the Fiji Bitter Nasinu Netball association hopes for the best and a fruitful 2020.

President Mereseini Delai said they hoped to increase sponsorship to allow implementing development programs.

“We are working with Netball Fiji on accrediting our current coaches to become coach developers and increasing our number of participation with women,” Delai said.

“We continue to be inclusive with the male but this year to push to have a grade in the IDC as this is the only way netball will be recognised as an Olympic sport.

“Training for the squad starts on January 25, 2020, once school starts. Our season would start in either late April or early May.”

She added they were waiting for the annual general meeting in March to elect new executives.

“We are having our AGM next year March to elect new executives as my term has come to an end.”
